Shelby County Election Commission

The Shelby County Election Commission is responsible for overseeing and administering all public elections within the county. The commission consists of five members, appointed by the Tennessee State Election Commission in odd-numbered years to serve two-year terms. Their primary duty is to ensure elections are conducted fairly, transparently, and in compliance with the law, as well as to certify the official results of each election.
